Wednesday Morning Help Time

This is a great way to bring any project that you are having
difficulty with and get help. You don't need to call ahead,
and you can stay a few minutes or the entire time. So go
into that knitting bag and bring out that project and
let's get it finished!!

Thursday Social Knitting
Noon - 2:00 pm

Come join us and knit a while! This will be a great time
for all who would like a knitting group and don't need
help on their project. This will be an informal group where
ideas and conversation will accompany your knitting.

Monday Night Blast!
The first Monday night of every month

The first Monday night of every month we will host a Knit
Night at the shop. This will be a social knit night where
you can come join with other knitters in sharing your ideas
and projects.

Beginning Knitting
Saturday Mornings
10:00 am - Noon
Class fee $40
This class consists of two - 2 hour sessions.
In the first class, we teach you how to cast on, the knit stitch
and the purl stitch. The next week, we teach you how to use
the stitches in different combinations, how to bind off
and get you started on a basic project. Included in the
class is yarn and needle to get you started. Pre-registration
is required at least 1 week in advance.

Private Knitting Instruction
We are happy to offer private knitting instruction
by Jane Callister. This will be offered by appointment
only and be scheduled directly with Jane to
accommodate personal schedules.
The cost if $25 per hour and must be paid when
appointment is made. This is a great way to learn
a new technique or finish a project that has you stumped!

The Wonderful Wallaby Sweater

Wednesdays, August 18th, 25th, September 1st, 8th, 15th and 22nd
1:00 - 3:00 pm
Taught by Shirley Marshall
Class fee $40 with 15% off supplies needed for the class.
This is our favorite sweater pattern and everyone who
takes this class finds it to be their favorite sweater also.
This pattern is written for you to knit from the
bottom up, knit the sleeves and then join it together
leaving only three small seams and your sweater
is finished. Shirley is a pro at teaching this class
and can answer all your questions along the way.

Socks From The Toe Up

Tuesday's September 14th, 21st and 28th
10:00 am - 1:00 pm
Taught by Jane Callister
Class fee $40 with 15% off supplies needed for the class.
If you have always want ed to try to knit socks, this
is the class for you! In this class you will learn how
to begin your socks at the toe, knit the foot, turn the
heel and finish with the cuff. This technique uses
double point needles and lightweight sock yarn.

Mesh Lace Reversible Cabl e Scarf

Friday's September 3rd, 10th and 17th

This is Bobbi's newest scarf pattern and it is wonderful!
Bobbi will teach you how to turn a cable and follow
the simple lace pattern as well.

Sweater Ornaments

Thursday's September 9th, 16th, 23rd, and 30th

Every year we hang up our Christmas wreath in the shop
that is full of miniature knitted sweaters and we always
get asked, "Where did you get those?" So this year we have
the pattern and Judy will be teaching these darling little
sweaters to hang on your tree or use as gifts. The first two
classes you will make the sweater, and the second two
classes you will use your imagination in designing your
own sweater!

Einstein Coat

Wednesday's October 6th, 13th, 20th, 27th,
November 3rd, 10th, 17th and 24th.

If you've ever wanted to knit a sweater that has no purl stitches,
this is the sweater for you! This sweater is from Sally Melville's
book "The Knit Stitch" and only uses the knit stitch for the
entire sweater! We love Sally's book and think everyone
should make an "Einstein Coat" for themselves! This is a great
first ever sweater to make!

Knitted Giraffe or Hippo

Friday's September 3rd, 10th, 17th and 24th
10:00 am - 1:00 pm
Taught by Bobbi Padgett
Class fee $40 with 15% off supplies needed for the class.
This is a fun class to make either one of Bobbi's darling
creations of either a giraffe or hippo. Everything you need
is included in the kit with the exception of a size 2 double point
needles. It is recommended that you have some knitting
experience and can follow with the pattern for this class.
