Classes for February and March
Pre-registration and payment is required for all classes
and is non-refundable.
Wednesday Morning Help Time
10:00 am - Noon
Taught by Shirley Marshall
$5.00 class fee
This is a great way to bring any project that you are having
difficulty with and get help. You don't need to call ahead,
and you can stay a few minutes or the entire time. So go
into that knitting bag and bring out that project and
let's get it finished!!
Thursday Social Knitting
Noon - 2:00 pm
Group hosted by Bonnie Barker
No charge
Come join us and knit a while! This will be a great time
for all who would like a knitting group and don't need
help on their project. This will be an informal group where
ideas and conversation will accompany your knitting.

Monday Night Blast!
The first Monday night of every month

The first Monday night of every month we will host a Knit
Night at the shop. This will be a social knit night where
you can come join with other knitters in sharing your ideas
and projects.

Beginning Knitting
Saturday Mornings
10:00 am - Noon
Class fee $40
For beginning knitting, you get two - 2 hour sessions.
In the first class, we teach you how to cast on, the knit stitch
and the purl stitch. The next week, we teach you how to use
the stitches in different combinations, how to bind off
and get you started on a basic project. Included in the
class is yarn and needle to get you started. Pre-registration
is required at least 1 week in advance.
Knitted Pig
Friday, March 19th and 26th

Taught by Bobbi Padgett
Class fee $40 with 15% off for supplies needed for the class
This is Bobbi's newest pattern and we have it all in a kit
ready to knit! Bobbi has a wonderful way with colors and
you are sure to love her newest addition to her collection
with this darling pig!
(Supplies: $20 kit; size 2, dpn. You may
also use a size 2, 16" needle when working the body of the pig)
Sock From The Toe Up
Tuesdays, March 9th, 16th
and 23rd

Class fee $40 with 15% off for supplies needed for the class.
If you've always wanted to try to knit socks,
this is the class for you!
In this class, you will learn how to begin your socks
at the toe, knit the foot, turn the heel and finish
with the cuff. This technique uses double point
needles and lightweight sock yarn.
Beginning Crochet and Crochet Flowers
Saturday, March 6th and 13th
10:00 am - Noon
Taught by Cony Larsen
Class fee $40 with 15% off for supplies needed for the class
In the first week, you will learn all the basics of crochet.
From how to hold your yarn to learning about the different
stitches and abbreviations.
In the second class, you will learn how to crochet 4 different
flowers to use on hats, headbands and as embellishments.
(Supplies: You will receive the yarn and crochet hook you need to
get started in crochet. We will also provide a free pattern for
a basic flower. Cony's book will also be available for purchase)
Advanced Crochet
Saturday, March 20th and 27th
10:00 am - Noon
Taught by Cony Larsen
Class fee $40 with 15% off for supplies needed for the class
This will be a more advanced class for those who have basic
crochet skills but would like to learn edges for crocheting
great baby blankets and burp towels.
Each class we will help you with 2 different edge stitches
and all the tricks for crocheting them well.
(A burp, crochet thread and a crochet hook will be provided
with the class fee. Cony's book will be available to purchase. |
