There's a lot to love about summer and all of us at The Wool Cabin are loving every little thing! We love knitting at picnics, outdoor concerts, and ball games. Truth is we never stop knitting, even through the dog days of summer. Summer is short in the Rockies and we want to be sure to enjoy every minute of it, so we take knitting in public to an extreme!
We especially love summer at the shop because we're starting to get our fall shipments in - crazy, right? It isn't even August yet! But, we want to be ready when "sweater fever" hits. You know what we're talking about! When you get that irresistible urge to start a Fall sweater, or a cosy shawl? So, in the heat and long days of July, we're opening boxes like mad and swooning over all the delicious new yarn coming in from all over the world. Our dreams are filled with cosy sweaters, wraps and throws. We imagine hats and mittens to keep us warm in the frigid air that will surely come.

Don't forget to check out our new classes for fall. There are so many great ones, we've had a hard time putting them all on the calendar! Fall is a great time to learn something new. Remember to register early! We keep our classes small so you get enough attention to be successful.
Thanks to everyone who participated in the 2018 Shop Hop! We had a great time and we hope you did too. For those of you who finished up at The Wool Cabin, we hope you enjoyed your fun hat kits! It was great to see all our old friends and make some new ones.
