Experience Level: Intermediate
Instructor: Lisa Sewell
Mondays: September 10th, 24th / October 8th, 22nd / November 5th, 19th / December 3rd from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm
In this semester-long series we’ll be knitting a Fair Isle Sweater. You select the design – cardigan, pullover, vest and Lisa will guide you along through all the elements needed to complete your project. In this class she'll cover the specific techniques used in Fair Isle knitting – including setting up your project, swatching, rib, steeks, cutting and finishing work. This class is suitable for those who have taken the Intro to Fair Isle Sweater Class, or are experienced with two-color stranded knitting techniques.
There will be a social get together on Monday evening, August 27th from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm to choose yarn and projects. Students must have a project and have yarn ready for first day of class on September 10th. (Seven Sessions: $140.00)
*There will be a 10% discount on yarn purchased at the meeting on August 27th in advance of the class.
